GTECH is responsible for creating the patented cordless electronic sweeper. Since going on sale in autumn 2002, more than 4 million sweepers have been sold in the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, USA and Japan.

As many products on the household marketplace have gone cordless – drills, kettles, telephones – Gtech felt it was only a matter of time before cleaning products such as vacuum cleaners would follow suit.

We wanted to provide an alternative to the vacuum cleaner - something which was lighter, more efficient, more affordable and less hassle.
