The ST05 is brand new for 2008 and represents yet another technological leap forward by Gtech.

It is designed to make managing your garden even easier and to give you much more time to enjoy it this summer!

To achieve this, we have replaced our old external Ni-Cad battery packs with a much more efficient Lithium-ion battery pack that is now built into the handle making the ST05 strimmer even lighter and more manoeuvrable around the garden than before as there are no external battery packs to carry around. The new generation power units are now even more energy efficient and environmentally friendly than before, with the strimmer costing less than 1p per week to charge and run (source: British Gas tariff, 18th June 2008).

The ST05 shares all the same features with the successful ST01 such as the telescopic handle, and rotating head that flexes over 70 degrees to make short work of whatever task you are undertaking, helped by the powerful 8,500 RPM blade rotation to achieve the cleanest cut. The ST05 also comes with 20 free blades to ensure that you are fully equipped to tackle whatever your garden may throw at you!
