The Gtech HT05 is the worlds lightest cordless hedge cutter and is brand new for 2008. It represents yet another technological leap forward by Gtech.

This ergonomically designed cordless hedge cutter had been designed to make managing your garden even easier and to give you much more time to enjoy it this summer!
To achieve this, we have replaced our old external Ni-Cad battery packs with a much more efficient Lithium-ion battery pack that is now built into the handle making the HT05 hedge trimmer even lighter and more maneuverable around the garden, indeed the HT05 only weighs a tiny 1.6kg which means you can easily lift it with just one hand! The new generation power units are now even more energy efficient and environmentally friendly than before, with the hedge trimmer costing less than 1p per week to charge and run (source: British Gas tariff, 18th June 2008).
The HT05 shares all the same features with the successful HT01 such as the fully extendable telescopic handle, which means you no longer need to climb up dangerous ladders to cut the tops of your hedges and a rotating head that flexes over 70 degrees allowing you to flatten off the tops of your hedge and makes short work of whatever task you are undertaking, helped by the powerful 230 mm long diamond cut blade.
